I think that as a teacher I will use data collection tools to see how my students really feel. The surveys would be anonymous so there is a more open space, to be honest. The results gathered from the survey would then be used in small talking circles to better understand the issue and make the class environment better over-all. For me, reading has always been easy but for some people, it simply isn't with the surveys for my fourth-grade class we could make classes better instantly.  From reviewing my classmates' blogs I found their creativity most interesting. Looking at their blogs encouraged me to want to be more creative. The layouts were amazing and had little to no errors. The dedication and effort were clearly visible and overall enjoyed. I would like to learn skills that will advance my skills. I want to explore more functions that will make each and every one of my presentation unique and different from the next. This is something I would like to do and consider a goa

My experience as a distance learner has been one for the books. With being a distance learner I have lost that hands-on experience that I am beyond accustomed to by this point in my academic career. I don't have the ability to formulate that one-on-one bond with my teachers like I usually do. I do however enjoy the freedom of being able to have more freedom. I don't have to be restrained and tied down in a classroom for several hours out of the week where I could be working to earn some extra funds. To improve the experience of distance learners as a teacher I could allow activities that help everyone to feel more connected.  Open educational resources are some of the best resources created. Using these resources allow students to be able to have access to resources that help to strengthen their educational paths without all those expensive fees. With going to school I frequently say that schools charge too much to do good things. I believe the best open educational resources

Some of the new skills I acquired from working on the website design assignment this week included making pages. I found this to be interesting because I've always wanted to make a website. The other skills included using the nice features the website involves. Features include a divider and spacer adders between pages. I disliked that the functions weren't as simple to use as I originally thought. What I learned from the assignment can be used in my future career by allowing for the saving of information on public domains. The new skills I learned working with Diigo made things simpler. Bring able to save your previously used links and cite them property helps. This application can be useful in class because it allows for citations to be accurate and useful in the academic community. My individual professional efforts include properly citing sources that I may have used o accelerate an assignment.  Technology and teacher professional development are two things that go hand-in

https://comm.cci.fsu.edu/programs/undergrad-programs/digital-media-production/ Teacher pages on a school website served as brochures. The pages present the information in a way that interests and encourages others to join. The example I used was the school of communication. It’s no wonder that the information is good at trying to recruit new people. I envision myself using technology to accomplish my professional responsibilities more efficiently and effectively by making sure all my students understand the information. If the child is unaware of how to use the technology it will ultimately be a waste. The specific teacher productivity tools I will use include google mostly. Google is by far the best tool to be used because it opens up a realm to so many other easy-to-use tools.  My experience with working in the wiki platform (PB Works) was difficult. I didn’t enjoy it because the layout of the site seemed old and hard to navigate. I found myself having to teach myself certain funct

My initial thought and experience with using Diigo was “I hope this is easy to navigate so that I can pass.” I was happy to see that it was and was actually a nice resource. The only aspect that I disliked was  My experience with blogging was nice. I mentioned that at the beginning of class I’ve always wanted to start blogging my life. Blogging allowed me to keep an exact track of information, dates and much more. During the blogging process I’ve learned to enjoy being organized and in order.  An interesting Web 2.0 tool that I would consider using as a teaching tool would be YouTube. For me youtube would make things so much easier. Students could get the videos perspective at their own pace and then gather their own. This would allow for elaboration which I believe is most important in the classroom.

For me, I definitely use Twitter the least of all my social media platforms. I was using it as a means of contacting friends who also use it. I felt for a while that Twitter was just a waste of space so I just deleted the app completely. Since re-downloading the app I have found a purpose for the app. I am happy that I can now use it for a more professional means of communication with others.  The digital divide affects student success in schools by favouring those with access and placing those without access at a disadvantage. The digital divide is caused by some students having what others lack. I know that with being a teacher there will be many students and each will be different in their own way. I also have to expect the difference some of their at-home circumstances will vary. In the video the recommendation was made for teachers to dedicate a portion of class time to developing the student's technological abilities, this is what I would do to narrow the division.  Two softw
